Assistant - privacy policy

Assistant is a private tool run by Modern Ways Ltd (mwlafrica.com) for its own staff. It reads a user's mail, calendars and files only after that user connects their own account, and uses them to show that same user what needs their attention.

What it reads and why

With your permission it reads your Google Calendar events (title, time, place, attendance) to show your week, find clashes and suggest times. It adds or changes an event only after you approve that change in the app.

Who can see it

Your data is visible only to you in the app. It is not sold, not shared with anyone else, and not used for advertising. Text may be processed by Anthropic's Claude models to summarise it for you; Anthropic does not train on it.

Storage and removal

Calendar events are cached for at most three weeks around today. Sign-in tokens are kept on our own server and are never shared. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and ask us to delete everything we hold about you.
